I have always admired people with the talent to photograph water drops..... so when I started fiddling with water drops on flowers I was surprised at how nice the pictures turned out. Another thing that I am amazed by are pictures of peacocks because they are such gorgeous birds. I had a few real peacock feathers in my room and I had wanted to put the two together for a while. I finally got around to it today and this was the result. If you look closely you can see my camera and the patio cover reflected in the water droplet. My favorite part, though, is that you can see all the tiny little 'hairs' on each strand of the feather. I am very happy with the way this turned out. (I have done no cropping/photoshopping/editing of any kind to this photo.) Oh, and this is my entry for the Canon Macro contest from =simoneyvette |

It's really amazing what you can do with a 'simple' Powershot (started out with one of those as well)
